Reg Fee 10 euro and free night event. This will just cover costs.
Summary of rules
1. No swaps between riders
2. Each team can discard 1 team member’s time (this is to factor in mechanical/flats, etc) for the Individual TT and the race.
3. Team Time Trial (TTT) bonus of 1min for bringing home five – you must have five at the roundabout in Kells to get this Bonus and of course five at the finish. You can decide to ride with four but if you get a flat/mechanical that’s just bad luck.
4. Race is handicapped as below
5. 20 s bonus for win, 12 for second and 8 for third this applies for a breakaway only. No bonus for a bunch sprint. What qualifies as a breakaway – a gap of 3 seconds or more.
6. Anyone riding/sprinting up the wrong side of the road will not get any time bonus. Use common sense and put this message across to all team members.
7. Go single file over the bridge after you turn off the main road.
8. Finish line is on the straight just after the cemetery wall and will be marked with tape.
9. Ensure you at the start for the TT five minutes before your start time. If you fail to start at the allocated time that is also bad luck.
10. The organiser reserves the right to alter teams in the event of a cancellation, etc.
11.In the event of a funeral the TT will be first, then the TTT and the race after lunch.
No time Bonus for a Bunch sprint , hence if you are all together then don’t sprint as you will get the same time. This for safety reasons
The race finish will be recorded and the organisers will determine any time differences.
